Connect Wahoo to Simma

Simma reads the file your Wahoo device records, not just its summary. Once your Wahoo account is linked, each ride is scored against your own history and kept as part of one record with everything else you do. Your assistant then reads it alongside your swims and runs.

Anything your Wahoo devices sync to your Wahoo account comes through, such as rides from an ELEMNT bike computer.

Connect

1. Open Settings → Connections in the Simma app.
2. Press Connect Wahoo.
3. Wahoo opens its own page. Sign in there and approve Simma. Simma never sees your Wahoo password.
4. You come back to Simma, and the Wahoo box says Connected.

New to Simma? The sign-up offers Garmin and Wahoo, and you can link either or both.

Already chatting with your assistant? Ask it where to manage your devices. It has the link and will hand it to you, because connecting has to happen in the browser.

What loads

Your last 8 weeks. When you connect, Simma asks Wahoo for the rides from the past 8 weeks. The Wahoo box shows "Loading your last 8 weeks…" while it works. Your assistant has that history from the first conversation.

Every ride after that. A new ride reaches Simma once your device has synced it to Wahoo.

What Simma works out from each ride. The same as for any session: training load against your own baseline, power from a power meter when you have one, and a threshold estimated from your own rides over time.

Garmin and Wahoo together

You can link both. When the same ride arrives from both, for example a Garmin watch and a Wahoo bike computer on the same ride, Simma counts it once. Your load and thresholds move once, not twice.

Workouts written by your assistant go to a Garmin watch. Sending them to a Wahoo device is not there yet.

Disconnect

In Settings → Connections, press Disconnect in the Wahoo box, then Disconnect and delete.

• Simma removes its access at Wahoo.
• About 15 minutes later, Simma deletes the rides that came from Wahoo. The short wait lets anything already on its way finish first.
• Your Garmin sessions and everything else stay.

Connect again later and Simma loads the last 8 weeks again.
