How to Create a Simma Coaching Account
A coaching account takes a few minutes to set up. This guide covers what Simma asks for, what each setting does, and what to do once you are in. It describes the screens as they are today; if something on your screen does not match, tell us and we will fix the guide.
What Simma is, in one paragraph
Simma reads every Garmin session your athletes record, works out load, fitness and form against each athlete's own history, and holds the results as a system of record. You read that record in the Simma web app or, more usefully, inside the AI assistant you already use, through the Simma connector. The assistant is where the coaching conversation happens. Simma is the thing that makes sure the numbers it is reading are right.
Sign up
Go to app.getsimma.com/register and choose the coach option. You will be asked for:
- First and last name
- Email address and a password
- Your coaching business name
Simma sends a verification code to the address you gave. Enter it and you are in.
Your invite link
Your business name becomes the suggested slug for your invite link, which looks like app.getsimma.com/join/your-name. You can change the slug at any time under Settings, and the link is shown on your dashboard with a copy button.

The three voice settings
Under Settings there is a card with three fields. They shape every draft that is written in your name, whether you draft in the web app or ask your assistant to draft through the connector.
Tone of voice. One to three sentences on how you write to athletes. "Warm but direct when something needs to change" gives a draft more to work with than "professional".
Coaching instructions. Context the data cannot supply: the phase most of your squad is in, how bluntly you want concerns raised, phrases you never use. Optional at the start. Most useful once you have read a few drafts and know what you want changed.
Sign-off. Appears at the end of every email exactly as you type it.

Branding
Also under Settings: your business name and a logo. The logo appears on emails sent to your athletes.
What happens next
- Share your invite link. Athletes sign up, connect Garmin, and their sessions start arriving as they record them. If they turn on historical data during the Garmin step, Simma loads their last sixteen weeks as well.
